Seven provinces of Turkey shaken by 7.4 magnitude earthquake

Many provinces in Turkey's East, Southeast, Central Anatolia, and Mediterranean regions were shaken by an earthquake measuring 7.4 on the Richter scale, centered in Kahramanmaraş, at 04:17 local time. The Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD) announced that the earthquake occurred at a depth of 7 kilometers. After the earthquake, 42 aftershocks occurred, the largest of which was 6.6 magnitude. It was announced that 76 people lost their lives and 440 people were injured. Emergency services continue their work in the areas affected by the earthquake.
